In his role at CSN Chicago, the television home of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox, T.K. leads and executes the network’s digital media strategy and expansion. He oversees its digital, mobile and social media platforms, operations, product development, partnerships, digital media sales/sponsorship development and editorial programming and production of CSNChicago.com.

T.K. has lead a number of significant digital media developments for CSNChicago.com, including live game streaming; redesigned look; revamped mobile site; increased digital sales revenue; substantial web audience and traffic growth; and content partnerships with national sports websites (SB Nation, Bleacher Report, National Football Post, Pro Football Weekly) and local media (Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times).

Under T.K.’s direction, CSN Chicago was the second RSN in the country to live stream NBA games locally with the Chicago Bulls. He created a 24x7 digital newsroom in hiring digital beat writers, multimedia and web producers to cover CSN Chicago's team partners – Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox – and the Bears plus additional coverage of Chicago Fire, high school and college sports.

T.K. develops strategic digital, mobile content and business partnerships via Comcast Sports Group, its other RSNs in Philadelphia (CSN Philly), DC/Baltimore (CSN Mid-Atlantic), Boston (CSN New England) and San Francisco (CSN Bay Area and CSN California). In addition, T.K. spearheads digital content, cross-promotional and social media initiatives with team partners: Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox.

Prior to joining CSN Chicago, T.K. was the Director of Brand Marketing & Communications for Universal Sports (a division of NBC Sports). He is a well-respected industry leader with a proven track-record of success on numerous levels throughout his career. His digital media experience is extensive, evidenced by his prior work in both national/local sports television and global corporate digital media. During his tenure at Universal Sports, he oversaw all brand marketing, communications and partner relations for the Olympic and lifestyle sports network, including its website and mobile platforms. In addition, he created and executed strategic brand and grassroots marketing campaigns online and offline for programming properties, sponsored athletes and events, including multifaceted viral campaigns utilizing Twitter, Facebook and sport-specific online communities. T.K. also managed and coordinated UniversalSports.com’s on-air promotions elements with studio, news and sales groups to drive online web traffic, video streams and registrations, including the network’s on-air promos that aired during NBC’s broadcast of the 2008 Beijing Summer Games and Super Bowl XLIII pre-game coverage.

Prior to joining Universal Sports, T.K. worked for AOL Sports from 1998-2006, moving up in the ranks to the position of Senior Manager, Marketing & Business Operations where he developed and sold sponsorships and was responsible for managing strategic partnerships. The list of partners included the NFL, NBA, NASCAR, MLB, WNBA, NHL, PGA Tour, ABC Sports, CBS Sports, HBO Sports, Sports Illustrated, Turner Sports, NFL Players Association, WWF, STATS and SportsTicker. He also held titles of Senior Account Manager, Partner Relations & Sales Development for AOL Interactive Marketing and Manager, e-Commerce/Assistant Programming Manager for AOL Sports & Health. From 1994-1998, he worked for Home Team Sports in Bethesda, MD in their affiliate relations and marketing department.

He co-taught a sports marketing undergraduate class at Georgetown University (2005-08) for three years preceding his move to the Chicago-area. He has been a member of NSMN’s DC Chapter and Chicago Chapter for many years.
